· "Badminton with a Shared Future" Tournament

The "Badminton with a Shared Future" Tournament is open to all students and faculty at GIFT. It features a team-based, multi-round format with both singles and doubles events. Through continuous competition, mixed teams of faculty and students have developed teamwork skills and mutual trust, fostering a friendly and competitive atmosphere. In addition to promoting physical health and improving badminton skills, this Tournament has established a solid platform for communication among faculty and students from different grades and majors, strengthening interaction and mentorship within the GIFT community.

· "Badminton with You" Event Series

"Badminton with You" Event Series is organized by the Graduate Student Union of GIFT as a regular sports brand. Using badminton, the Events offer graduate students a platform for fitness, stress relief, and social interaction. The Events feature a variety of formats and include special tournaments such as the “Freshman Cup,” which aim to foster integration among students of different grades and create a positive and cohesive atmosphere.

· Basketball Carnival

The Basketball Carnival at GIFT brings students and faculty together through 5v5/4v4/3v3 games and shooting contests. It fosters teamwork, communication, and GIFT spirit in a fun, competitive atmosphere. Beyond sports, it builds natural connections between students and faculty and strengthens community bonds.

· Campus Cats & Mice Challenge

The "Campus Cats & Mice Challenge" is a fun outdoor team activity co-hosted by three schools at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Using real-time location tracking, students split into "mice" (hiding/routing) and "cats" (catching/coordinating) within a campus zone. The game tests reaction, strategy, and teamwork, with dynamically switched roles adding excitement. It's a great way to build connections, stay active, and enjoy playful competition.

· "The Ox and Tiger Compete for Spring" Fun Sports Day

"The Ox and Tiger Compete for Spring" Fun Sports Day, co-hosted by GIFT and Global College, is a lively team event for faculty and students. With several class teams competing in fun challenges, the event emphasizes teamwork and friendly competition. It strengthens class bonds and promotes cross-college interaction in an energetic, enjoyable atmosphere.
