· Yuanquan Plan

The "Yuanquan Plan" is a growth and empowerment platform tailored for students, launched by the Student Science and Technology Innovation Association in GIFT. The Association invites top talents from various fields to help students build a solid foundation of skills for both study and work through hands-on instruction and detailed analysis of practical case studies. The name "Yuanquan" embodies the founding vision of GIFT, echoes its motto "Profound in Knowledge, Progressive with the Times," and alludes to the concept of a "spring," symbolizing the inexhaustible nourishment of knowledge and skills. We hope that through the "Yuanquan Plan," every student will grow through their studies, achieve their best selves through perseverance, stay in step with the times, and embark on a bright future together.

· "Tripo Cup" 3D Printing Competition

The "Tripo Cup" 3D Printing Competition is a flagship science and technology innovation event organized by the Student Science and Technology Innovation Association in GIFT. The Competition encourages students to transcend the constraints of 2D design and use 3D printing technology to transform creative ideas into 3D objects, creating works that showcase artistic expression and ingenious design. With the support of free technical training and AI tools provided by GIFT, participants can quickly master cutting-edge modeling methods and hone their ability to take ideas from concepts to finished products through hands-on practice. The Competition aims to help GIFT students develop a future-oriented technological mindset, enhance their practical skills through creation, and build the confidence to lead change through innovation.

· "Freshman Cup" Smart Car Challenge

The "Freshman Cup" Smart Car Challenge is a team-based innovation competition organized by the Student Science and Technology Innovation Association in GIFT for freshmen. Through collaborative efforts, participating teams assemble and debug smart cars and develop lidar-based tracking algorithms to enable environmental perception and autonomous navigation capabilities. The teams ultimately compete in a comprehensive competition comprising time trials and distance races. Throughout the project, teams engage in hands-on practice focused on key areas such as sensing, decision-making, and path planning, gradually refining their system design and implementation while solving specific engineering challenges. The Challenge emphasizes developing foundational skills and teamwork, helping freshmen build a comprehensive understanding of intelligent systems. Winning teams will be recommended to participate in the China Robot Competition, where they will have the opportunity to interact with teams from other universities across China. Through this Challenge, students enhance their engineering capabilities and foster a spirit of innovation in a practical setting, laying a solid foundation for future scientific and technological exploration.
