Student Union

The Student Union of the Global Institute of Future Technology (GIFT), Shanghai Jiao Tong University, is the primary student organization, representing all undergraduate students in the institute and serving as a bridge between the institute and students. Comprising the Executive Committee and four functional departments—the Liaison Department, the Culture and Sports Department, the Organization Department, and the Student Life Department—the Student Union aims to build a youth development platform that is warm, profound, and comprehensive. By leveraging the diverse resources of the institute, it supports the growth and development of students across multiple dimensions, including ideological guidance, rights protection, academic practice, education in culture, sports, and aesthetics, as well as volunteer activities. Rooted in the needs of students, the Student Union continuously enhances the effectiveness of its services to help students in GIFT strive toward a brighter future.
