HT-Demux: A Scalable Sample Demultiplexing Framework for Massive Single-Cell Sequencing Data

HT-Demux addresses one of the key challenges in large-scale single-cell sequencing: determining the sample origin of millions of individual cells. By introducing a unified probabilistic framework and global parameter-sharing strategy, the method significantly improves scalability and computational efficiency while reducing classification errors.

Looking ahead, Mao hopes to further integrate computational methods with disease mechanism studies, cell atlas construction, and precision medicine, ultimately becoming an interdisciplinary researcher capable of bridging biology and artificial intelligence.
