    Artificial Intelligence Minor Project

    Project Overview & Objectives
The Artificial Intelligence Minor is a GIFT-designed interdisciplinary project open to all undergraduate students at the Global Institute of Future Technology (GIFT), Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Built on the GIFT's strengths in cross-disciplinary research, the project is centered on the dual pillars of AI & Energy and AI & Health, with a focus on advanced applications of AI in these two high-impact fields.

Through project-based learning and hands-on industry-academia collaboration, the minor is designed to cultivate “AI+” hybrid professionals who combine innovative cross-disciplinary thinking with strong engineering problem-solving skills.

    Eligibility
    ·
A student should be a full-time, currently enrolled undergraduate student at the GIFT, SJTU.

    · A student should hold a minimum GPA of 2.0 in core courses of their primary major and have no prior dismissal warnings on record.
