Personal Profile

Professor Yabing Qi is a Chair Professor at Global Institute of Future Technology in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He received his B.S., M.Phil., and Ph.D. from Nanjing University, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and University of California Berkeley, respectively. His research interests include surface and interface sciences, energy materials, atomic resolution imaging, perovskite solar cells, lithium batteries, perovskite light emitting diodes, and organic electronics. He has published 200+ articles with a h-index of 81 and over 25000 citations. He has been invited to deliver over 100 invited and keynote talks worldwide at international conferences, symposia, workshops, and universities, and has organized over 10 international symposia as the lead organizer or co-organizer. He is a Foreign Fellow of the Engineering Academy of Japan, MRS Fellow, Fellow of the American Vacuum Society, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher, and the recipient of Kao Science Award and JSPS Prize.
