Undergraduate Scholarships

The Future Technology Taihu Scholarship is a government-funded scholarship established through a collaboration between Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Wuxi Municipal Government. The scholarship is managed by the Global Institute of Future Technology (GIFT) and is open to full-time undergraduate students enrolled at the institute. The scholarship has two categories: the Technological Innovation Award and the Future Scholar Program Award.

· Technological Innovation Award: Available in the fall semester to undergraduates at GIFT and the UM-SJTU Joint Institute, with a prize of RMB 10,000 per recipient.

· Future Scholar Program Award: Open annually to participants of the Future Scholar Program, offering RMB 10,000 per recipient, in accordance with the Management Guidelines for the Future Scholar Program of GIFT.

AMEC-Future Scholarship

The AMEC-Future Scholarship is fully funded by Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Inc. (AMEC) and aims to reward and support outstanding undergraduates, master’s, and doctoral students at GIFT. Recipients are recognized for their excellence in academic performance, research innovation, and comprehensive qualities. Applications are open every fall semester to all enrolled students at GIFT.
