In view of the requirements for large-scale distributed resources to participate in the interactive regulation of power grids, perform research on the aggregation and interactive control of large-scale flexible resources as VPP. Detailed technologies include: (1) dynamic construction of VPP from different resources spanning at different areas, as well as the quantitative analysis technology for VPP response capability; (2) VPP communication network scheduling and service bearer delay control technology; (3) massive heterogeneous terminal real-time secure access and user privacy data protection technology; (4) VPP distributed collaborative operation and control technology.
Smart networked micro-grids and energy internet
Develop theory and methodologies of the smart collaborative distributed energy management system (SCoDEMS), which is an AI-inspired, scalable, real-time energy dispatching technology. The SCoDEMS technology will: (1) continuously adapt the distributed energy devices (DER) dispatching in the physical layer and routing in the cyber layer to provide optimal networked virtual power plants (N-VPP) and networked micro-grids (N-MG) performance under changing operating conditions; (2) scalable system with plug-and-play capabilities; (3) improved resilience against natural and man-made disasters.Large-scale energy storage and ultra-high-voltage power transmission
Aiming at deploying large-scale energy storages for the double carbon reduction target, perform the research on the intelligent collaborative and coordinated control technologies for the large-scale energy storages. Detailed technologies include: (1) large-scale energy storage to support the stable operation of large-scale wind and solar generation station, as well as the power transmission through ultra-high-voltage networks; (2) intelligent collaborative control strategies and methods for large-scale energy storages to participate in power grid peak regulation, frequency regulation and emergency power support.
