The 16th "GIFT Academic Salon" Successfully Held

On March 14, the 16th “GIFT Academic Salon” took place in lecture hall 200 in the east wing of Pao Yue-Kong Library. Vice Dean Jingchuan Wang delivered a report titled Comparison with international frontiers - the exploration of robotics technology development and talent training. Teachers and students of the institute participated in the exchange.



Jingchuan Wang shared with students his technical research achievements and talent training experience in the field of robotics from his student stage to the present day. He also had in-depth exchanges and discussions with the participating teachers and students on the development, future applications, and college student scientific and technological innovation competitions of robots.



“GIFT Academic Salon” is a brand event for academic exchange founded by the Global Institute of Future Technology to promote the academic integration of all college teachers. The event has been held every Friday since September 2024. Sixteen sessions have been held by now, 24 speakers have been invited, and more than 800 teachers and students have participated, marking the event as very popular among teachers and students.
